Rose Parade 2009- Here We Come!!

This year Martin and I volunteered with the Pasadena/ Foothills Association of Realtors to work on the National Association of Realtors (N.A.R.) first entry into the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade! Working in real estate we get to meet some really awesome people and today was no exception.

Yes we got dirty (me- I shook out dust from ground split peas for about 3 hours) and a little high (Martin from working with all that wet painting cement) but we had a lot of fun. Plus too, it will be nice to watch the parade on New Year's Morning, see the float go by and say, "Hey- we worked on that!"

The artist's rendition of what the float will look like:

Baby's Final Ultrasound

This is for you Mom, Dad & Janey!!

Because Mom, Dad & Janey had to leave for the Philippines this week, we videotaped our final ultrasound for them to view. They were really looking forward to being there, as never having been able to see our son, their grandson/ nephew live on screen.

So here you go- here he is in all his glory and crazy antics!!!
We miss you! Love you!! Oh yeah, and make sure you turn up the volume!!! Its a little low!!

How Many Uncles Does it Take to Build a Dresser?

Tonight Uncle Christian, Uncle Andy, Uncle Kenny & Uncle Sean ALL banded together to build baby's very first piece of furniture- his dresser!!! And this couldn't have come at a better time. Mommy's bought so many pieces of clothing (not to mention in addition, all the generous gifts she's received already as well from Auntie Lynn, Auntie Janey & Uncle Christian) that the dresser was very much needed. Here are some pictures showing all the Uncles' progress:

Dini's Third Round of Gifts!!!

Ok, its official, Dini is officially SPOILED!!! Tonight we came home to yet ANOTHER package waiting for Dini (I don't think that even Martin and I have received any packages this holiday season!) and this time from a Maltese friend in Colorado. I think its safe to say that this should be her last round of gifts.

Dini attacking a box which she somehow knew was for her.

All of her goods (A tank top, Pjs, a brocade carrying purse, lots of treats, and a ball to play with!)

In her purse- which obviously did not amuse her.

And finally what we think is the beginning of a doggie treat coma. She ate a whole bunch of little treats and started in on this giant puppy cookie. Hey, the evidence is there!

Dini's Second Round of Gifts!!

Instead of Christmas for Dini, its almost like Hannukah!!! Its another night of gifts!!

This one this time came from a friend in South Carolina that makes handmade bows for dogs. She knows that Dini often has trouble keeping stuff in her hair, so she made her these special bows. They match the outfits that her other friend from New Mexico sent.

Boy- is Dini super spoiled!!!

Dini's First Round of Christmas Gifts!

For those of you that don't know, Dini and I belong to a Maltese forum where we can trade tips, advice and just stories about our pups. Because of that Dini has made friends all around the country. Here is one of the rounds of gifts that she received from a friend in New Mexico for Christmas. I don't know who may have been more excited, me or Dini!
