I've been cutting Koa's hair at home whenever I could, and its always been in pieces; a chunk here in the tub, a chunk off while watching tv, another chunk cut while eating breakfast. Anytime I could grab a pair of scissors and just snip I would.
Finally one morning I just gave up. I couldn't do it. He was so squirmy, not to mention strong and fast now, that I decided we would HAVE to attempt to have it done by someone who knows what they're doing.
Luckily, Bella & Vivi were coming down with my sister Lynn & Zac to spend the NYE weekend with us. I thought that with them there, Koa would behave just fine for a haircut.
And sure enough, my little boy surprised me yet again. He was a perfect angel sitting in his rocket ship at the salon, clinging to his toy cars and trains as he sat patiently while a stranger cut and buzzed at his head.
Another milestone that my child has accomplished, one more thing for me to be proud of, and yet another happening to make me sad as I realize, my kids are quickly growing up.
The salon we took him to: Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Temecula

Before: The Bruce Lee Look :D

Sitting in his rocket and getting ready!

And on goes the cape!

Bella & Vivi looking like they feel sorry for him. Hahaha

Bye Bye long mowhawk!
