Malia Rolls!!!

Tonight while Lola and Lolo were unpacking their things in our guest room (they will be staying with us for a while) Malia hung out on their bed and watched all the happenings going on.

All of a sudden I hear Mom yell for me and Martin to "come here quick!" Sure enough, we run into the room to see Malia take her first turn, from her back right onto her tummy!!

Yay Malia!! Again, Mommy is soooo bad with getting a camera to record moments like these. I missed Koa's and had to blog about it without pics and now Malia the same. :(

I have to take advantage of where Malia is at right now, sweet and immobile!! :) I know that it will only be a matter of time until she'll be moving all over the place like her big brother.

Passing Time...

While waiting for Daddy attend to some errands, Koa spent hammed it up in his carseat. :) Here he is listening to High School Musical (surprise, surprise!) and me trying in vain to get him to say something for posterity. Enjoy!

Malia Meets Baby Derek

Cousin Derek and Malia are exactly one month apart- Malia born May 6th, Derek born June 6th... and they are pals already!!

He is such a cute and sweet baby... and he looks like Uncle Kenny's mini-me... whereas Malia looks like a girly version of Daddy. Let's just hope that Malia doesn't manipulate Derek into giving up his good toys the way Daddy did with Kenny when they were young!!

The four of us (minus Dins who stayed with Anna, Che & Coop-A-Loop) took a drive up to Sacramento to visit with Auntie Kira, Uncle Kenny and meet (and play!!) with Cousin Derek... and sadly, we miss them already!!!

Completing The Backyard

...Can we say, "NIGHTMARE?!"

Yes, we love our yard with the grass and concrete down, but it was a HEADACHE- dealing with everything from crazy HOA's, and even crazier contractors. Without getting into it, we're happy to say that with many lessons learned, we will not be doing any more professional landscaping for A WHILE!!! (Behemoth mountain, you will have to wait!!)
