Fingerpainting Is So Much... Fun??

For Kekoa's 2nd birthday, Aunty Kira, Uncle Kenny and cousin Baby D sent not only a cool Denver Broncos shirt and cool matching pants, but they also included... tubes of fingerpaint!

As some may know that children who have developmental delays, be it speech, or what not, often times have sensory issues. With Koa, its sticky textures. He hates them. We have been working with all kinds of things from paints, to play dough, to stickers, to wet noodles... you name it. He's gotten a lot better. And sometimes he can certainly attain to the task of using his sensory skills to play with the items.

Other times, he has no use for it and wants to bail. We're getting there... its progress, but we're definitely getting there.

Koa being assisted by Lola Claring and Bella & Vivi lost in their own art.
