Granted, we tried to set Santa up like Elmo, where if we kept exposing Kekoa to Santa it wouldn't be so frightening when it came time to actually sit on Jolly 'Old Saint Nick's lap. On Saturday afternoon we took Koa and Malia and stood in line, not for a picture, but just for Koa to get to say hi. He gave Santa a quick hi five and beat it out of there real fast. Today was no exception. As you'll see, Koa still wanted to have nothing to do with Santa Claus... and we still have to take the photo of just him and Malia with Santa. *sigh*
We woke the kids up early in the morning to get them prepped for the ride up to Burbank. Poor Malia, she's still looking sleepy! :)

Then she just got grumpy.

Then she lightened up and got real hammy!

Koa enjoying his breakfast of turkey bacon and waffles while everybody got ready.

"Want some?"

Giving Mommy his killer smile despite it being so early in the morning.

At Auntie's getting the kids dressed and ready.

With Lolo & Lola!

Trying to do a practice run... which just goes to show you that if this is any indication of what it will be like when we're with Santa, then we were in trouble!

On our way!

Looking a little apprehensive... poor baby boy :(

Meeting Santa! I love that Malia is sucking her thumb in this one.

Giving Santa a hi five!

And the finished project! A semi success!
